Welcome to my blog about train travel. I was prompted to start this blog because more often than not when I step foot into Cardiff Central station I am welcomed by a delay or a cancellation. Then when I get on a train it's falling apart or running at half the speed it should be. Is it just me that's doomed to a life of awful train travel?

FGW Update!
Amazing today the 1001 from Penzance to Paddington arrived at 1529, that's only 6 minutes late - amazing, incredible. Well done FGW! I hope you break a record and arrive on time tomorrow. J.
